Session Details |
Early discharge after elective orthopaedic surgery leaves patients managing incision care at home. Preventable issues, blistering, leakage and skin damage from traditional dressings, remain common, limiting mobility, delaying rehabilitation, and increasing GP/nurse visits. This symposium focuses on improving incision care, patient education, and multidisciplinary collaboration to support recovery after discharge.
