Dr. Nina Sioson is a Family Medicine and Medical Nutrition physician who practices in several tertiary hospitals in the Philippines. She heads the Perioperative Medicine–Enhanced Recovery After Surgery (POM-ERAS) Unit at The Medical City in Manila and was instrumental in establishing ERAS programs in the Philippines and across Asia.
She serves on the faculty of the Medical Nutrition Fellowship programs of The Medical City and St. Luke’s Medical Center, teaches at the Ateneo School of Medicine and Public Health, and is a board member of the Philippine College of Medical Nutrition Physicians. She is also part of the Palliative and Hospice Care Unit of Cotabato Regional and Medical Center in Mindanao.
Dr. Sioson is the immediate Vice President of ERAS® Philippines and a former DEI Officer of the ERAS® Society International. A past president of the Philippine Society for Parenteral and Enteral Nutrition (PhilSPEN), she has co-authored multiple ERAS and medical nutrition publications and lectures widely both locally and internationally.
