Kristin Black (she/her) is a Gynecologic Oncologist and Assistant Professor at the University of Calgary in the Departments of Obstetrics & Gynecology and Oncology. Kristin completed her Bachelor of Science and Medical Degree at the University of Saskatchewan, followed by Obstetrics & Gynecology residency at the University of Alberta, and fellowship in Gynecologic Oncology at the University of Calgary.
During her fellowship she concurrently completed a Master of Public Health through the University of Victoria with a focus in Indigenous Health Studies. She is a clinician-scientist with interests in health equity and patient-centered ERAS care in gynecologic oncology.
