A/Prof Jeffrey Low is the Head of the Division of Gynaecologic Oncology and Senior Consultant in the Department of Obstetrics & Gynaecology and the National University Cancer Institute, Singapore. He graduated from the National University of Singapore in 1987, obtained his specialist qualifications in 1993, and underwent subspecialty training in Australia from 1997-1999.
Dr Low’s interests are in preinvasive disease, radical surgery, robotic surgery, lymphoedema and the organisation of multidisciplinary care including enhanced recovery after surgery for women with gynaecologic cancers. His research includes lymphoedema prevention, ovarian cancer molecular biology, novel therapies, HPV vaccines and spectroscopy for cervical screening.
In November 2021, in conjunction with the ERAS Program at the National University Hospital (NUH), Dr Low initiated the ERAS care pathway for gynaecological and gynaecologic oncology surgery in the Department of O&G in NUH.
