With over 20 years of experience in the nursing profession, my career has been defined by a singular commitment: ensuring that an elite standard of surgical nursing care is set, delivered, and maintained at all times.
As a leader of a dedicated nursing team at Tan Tock Seng Hospital, I focus on bridging the gap between clinical protocols and compassionate bedside care. I believe that the success of any surgical journey depends on the consistency of nursing excellence and the rigorous application of evidence-based standards.
My professional foundation was built at the University of Sydney, where I earned my Bachelor of Health (Nursing) in 2007, followed by an Advanced Diploma in Nursing from Nanyang Polytechnic in 2008. These qualifications, combined with two decades of frontline and leadership experience, allow me to advocate for nursing-led interventions that are core to the Enhanced Recovery After Surgery (ERAS) philosophy.
I am honoured to contribute to the 12th ERAS World Congress, where I look forward to sharing insights on maintaining clinical rigor while leading high-performing teams in the modern surgical environment.
