Prabu Naidu is a seasoned coach, mentor, and facilitator with over two decades of experience supporting leaders and managers in MNCs and SMEs across Singapore and the wider Asian region. Since 1999, he has specialised in organisational development, built on a solid foundation of 20 years with global corporations such as PHILIPS, AT&T, and COMPAQ. His corporate career spanned a broad range of functions including Engineering, Materials, Project Management, TQM, HRD, Change Management, and Supply Chain Re-engineering.

He holds a Masters degree in Organisational Behaviour and an Honours degree in Economics, both from the University of London. He is also a member of several professional bodies, including the International Institute for Facilitation (INIFAC).

Recognised as a thought leader in the field, Prabu has held key leadership roles such as Vice-Chair of the Chartered Management Institute (UK) Singapore Branch Council (1994–1996), Chairperson of Singapore’s Human Resources Development Feedback Group (now REACH) from 2005 to 2007, and council member of both the Singapore Polytechnic Graduates Guild (2021–2022) and MCST 4060 (2015–present). From 2013 to 2023, he served on the Board of INIFAC, advancing the facilitation profession across Asia.

As an educator, Prabu has lectured at the Singapore Human Resources Institute (SHRI) and Curtin University’s Master of HRM programme. Since 2024, he has been an adjunct faculty member at the Singapore University of Social Sciences (SUSS), where he designed and delivers a new course: Influential and Facilitative Leadership for Advocacy. His facilitative teaching style is consistently well received by students.

Prabu is an IAF Certified Professional Facilitator Emeritus (CPF-E), an INIFAC Certified Master Facilitator (CMF), Certified Master Learning Facilitator (CMLF), Certified Virtual Facilitator (CVF), and Master Trainer of the Strength Deployment Inventory® (SDI). From 1996 to 2020, he held the SDI® distribution licence and master trainer status with Personal Strengths Inc. (USA), representing the tool across Singapore and other parts of Asia.

He co-authored SPOT on Facilitation: Engaging People, Empowering Teams, Exceeding Goals (2011) – the first book on facilitation in Asia – which has been translated into Chinese and Burmese. In 2004, he co-founded the Facilitators Network Singapore (www.fns.sg) to enhance facilitation practice and professionalism in the region.

From 2012 to 2014, Prabu was instrumental in curating the INSIGHTS leadership programme for Singapore’s Agency for Integrated Care (AIC). Following his recovery from cancer in 2020, he has actively volunteered with patient and caregiver support groups at the Singapore Cancer Society (SCS), the SingHealth Patient Advocacy Network (SPAN), and Tan Tock Seng Hospital (TTSH). He also serves as a volunteer director at Muneeswaran Community Services (MCS).
